The Oakland Health Plan is a 501c(3) or Not-for-profit organization that provides two programs for uninsured residents of Oakland County. One of our programs is the Adult Benefit Waiver(ABW), where enrollment is done through the Michigan Department of Human Services (DHS) only during open enrollment periods determined by the State of Michigan. It covers visits to an assigned Primary Care Physician (PCP), referrals to specialists, referrals for outpatient diagnostic services and procedure and prescription drugs. The second program is the Oakland Primary Healthcare Network, where you can call today to enroll 888-798-WELL (9355). This program has no monthly premium, the only cost to members are a $5.00 co-pay for a Primary Care Physician visit, a $5.00 co-pay for generic drugs/ $10 for brand name drugs, and small co-pay for covered diagnostic tests.
